Education qualification for IBPS RRB 2016 recruitment

Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology,
Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy; ii. Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s*
iii. Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added   qualification.

Officer Scale-II
General Banking Officer
Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry,
Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.


Officer Scale-II

Specialist Officers
Information Technology Officer
Degree from a recognised University in Electronics /
Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Desirable:
Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.

Chartered Accountant
Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

Age criteria for IBPS RRB V 2016 recruitment(As on 01.09.2016)

For Officer Scale- III- Above 21 years - Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.09.1976 and later than 31.08.1995 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- II- Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.09.1984 and later than 31.08.1995 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- I- Above 18 years - Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.09.1986 and later than 31.08.1998 (both dates inclusive)
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.09.1988 and later than 01.09.1998 (both dates inclusive)

Check IBPS RRB CWE-V syllabus pre and main

IBPS RRB officer/office assistant recruitment CUTOFF SCORE 

For Office Assistants (Multipurpose) - Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination to be considered to be shortlisted for provisional allotment. Depending on the number of vacancies available in each state, candidates will be shortlisted for provisional allotment.
For Officers Scale IEach candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times of the declared vacancies in each state shall be called for interview, subject to availability. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online main examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.
For Officers Scale II and III - Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Single examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times of the declared vacancies shall be called for interview, subject to availability. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online main examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.
Mere passing in individual tests may not be sufficient as candidates should also score sufficiently high on Total in order of merit to be called for interviews / provisional allotment. Decision of IBPS in short-listing and calling numbers of candidates for Common Interview / provisional allotment shall be Final. 

IBPS RRB officer/office assistant 2016 CWE SCORE 

The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equipercentile method. 
Scores upto two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculation. 
FOR THE POST OF OFFICE ASSISTANTS (MULTIPURPOSE) – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE MAIN EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING. 
FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS SCALE I – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE MAIN EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT LISTING. 
FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS SCALE II (GENERALIST AND SPECIALIST) AND SCALE III – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE SINGLE LEVEL EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT LISTING.

INTERVIEW – applicable only for post of Officers (Scale I, II and III)

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination for the post of Officers Scale I and in the single level examination for the post of Officers Scale II and III under CWE- RRB-V will subsequently be called for an Interview to be co-ordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with the appropriate authority.

IBPS RRB officer/office assistant 2016 Provisional allotment process

On completion of the interview process / main examination, depending on the vacancies to be filled in as per the business needs of the RRBs and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the RRBs, based on merit-cum-preference keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, various guidelines issued by Govt. of India/Others from time to time, administrative exigency, etc. No change in the data already registered by the candidate in the online application form is possible. 
For Officers in Scale I and Office Assistants (Multipurpose), the provisional allotment shall be restricted within the RRBs of the State opted for.

HOW TO APPLY for IBPS RRB officer/office assistant 2016

 A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.
Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees / intimation charges separately for each post.
Candidates can apply online only from 14.09.2016 to 30.09.2016 and no other mode of application will be accepted.

Pre-Requisites for Applying Online for IBPS RRB 2016 officer/office assistant

Before applying online, candidates should—
(i) scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm) and signature adhere to the required specifications as given in Annexure III to this Advertisement.
(ii) Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
(iii) Keep the necessary details/documents ready to make Online Payment of the requisite application fee/ intimation charges
(iv) have a valid personal email ID, which should be kept active till the declaration of results of this round of CWE. IBPS may send call letters for the Examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID. Under no circumstances, a candidate should share with/mention e-mail ID to / of any other person. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying on-line and must maintain that email account.
