IBPS Clerk Prelim 2015 result: IBPS has announced result of clerk online preliminary written examination conducted on 5th, 6th,12th and 13th of December 2015.You can check your result by entering roll number or  registration number and password or date of birth. You can check your result directly from here.Main exam is scheduled on 2nd and 3rd of January 2016.

IBPS Clerk prelim 2015 exam review and expected cut-offIBPS has conducted Clerk CWE-V preliminary examination on 5th,6th,12th and 13th of December 2015.Exam pattern and difficulty level of all slots were similar. This review of IBPS clerk prelim examination is based on the experience shared by some the candidates who have attended clerk preliminary examination. Here is the section-wise and overall review and expected cut-off of the IBPS clerk preliminary examination 2015.

IBPS Clerk prelim 2015 exam:Quantitative review

  1. Simplification -10 marks
  2. Number series- 5 marks
  3. Data Interpretation(Table)- 5 marks
  4. Miscellaneous- 15 marks (profit loss, percentage, ratio, work time, time distance speed, Simple interest compound interest,Age, mixture and allegation, partnership etc.. )



All the questions were easy except miscellaneous problems. Overall difficulty level was ‘Moderate’

IBPS Clerk prelim 2015 exam:Reasoning section review

  1. Coding Decoding – 5 marks( Symbols & Number coding)
  2. Number series – 5 marks 
  3. Inequality – 5 marks( Direct Questions – not coded)
  4. Circular sitting arrangement 2 sets- 10 marks
  5. Linear sitting arrangement- 5 marks
  6. Miscellaneous- 5 marks(Blood relation , direction sense test, ranking etc)
Overall difficulty level of reasoning section was easy to moderate

IBPS clerk prelim 2015review: English Language 

  1. Reading Comprehension – 10 marks –( Story) 
  2. Cloze Test – 5 marks 
  3. Wrongly spelt words/out of context words  – 5 Marks
  4. Spotting Error – 5 marks
  5.  Parajumbles – 5 marks
Overall difficulty level of English was ‘easy’.

IBPS Clerk CWE-2015 Syllabus And Exam Pattern


This year(2015) onward IBPS CWEs(Common Written Examinations) are conducted in 2 phases.Phase-I is a Preliminary Examination followed by Phase-II which is the Main Examination.Those who clear preliminary will be called for Main exam.Preliminary Examination will be relatively easier compared to the Main Examination .Preliminary exam contains three sections.English Language, Quantitative and Reasoning. The Main Examination has 5 section. English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge.
